  My first visit was last year. Invited by a friend. Had no idea what to expect. We were not familiar with menu, utensils, seating, etc. One learned quickly to eat off of butcher paper & make non-hand foods hand foods. BBQ & sauces were great. After the meal, we toured this amazing museum of antiques. County bands would be performing at another time. Both the food & museum tour were well worth the trip to Texas Pride.

  Outstanding! A place I've been wanting to try for almost a year now. Finally! And soooo worth the wait. THE best brisket I've ever tasted.
  Had the "Hungry Texan" - Moist brisket, ribs, sausage, German potato salad, macaroni salad, and all the fixins'.

  During the summer, this is the place to be on a Friday night. The family is set to enjoy either the fish fry or the BBQ. I still love the pulled pork the best with some coleslaw but all the meat is worth a try. The pies are wonderful as well. Love the peach and the pecan. We always take some home. The local bands they have play is very good as well. I do wish the sound was equal all around the dance floor. sometimes can't hear the person talking or singing in certain areas. but the experience is awesome!
